Whether you’re from Nova Scotia or comin’ in hot from afar, there are a few things you’ll want to have prepped for the weekend of rodeo and rocking out.
1. Purchase your tickets for all of the days you want to attend (Want the full experience? The whole weekend is the way to go!)
2. Secure your accommodations – Ideally in Truro area. There is a variety of options on AirBnB and local hotels as well. The closer to the Nova Scotia Exhibition Grounds, the better!
3. Get your ‘Stampede best’ together! The Coldstream team in store has you covered once you land (Locations in Stewiacke, Dartmouth and Antigonish) and we also have an exclusive merch tent with t-shirts, sweaters, bandanas, belt buckles and more.
4. Pack for all weather! You never know what Nova Scotia weather will blow in, so be sure you’re covered.
5. Plan how to get to and from the stampede: Designate your DD or identify the options for public transit.

Rodeo events take place on the NS Stampede grounds Friday through Sunday (September 27 – 29). The rodeo will feature: Barrel Racing, Bull Riding, Saddle Bronc, Bareback Riding and Gymkhana.
