Coldstream Expands to Truro with Convenient Drive-Thru Experience
Truro, NS – October 17, 2024 – Coldstream, Nova Scotia’s leading local beverage producer, is underway with a new flagship location at 54 Robie St, Truro. Scheduled to open in Summer 2025, this state-of-the-art facility promises to deliver convenience with a drive-thru option for retail sales. This new store will proudly join Coldstream’s other vibrant community locations in Dartmouth Crossing, Stewiacke, and Antigonish, all renowned for delivering the warm, hospitable Coldstream experience to every customer.
Since 2019, Coldstream’s Truro facility has seen significant enhancements, including expansions and advanced technology investments to support their cooler, spirit, and beer production. With the significant growth in the region, it made sense to expand by creating a space that Truro residents and visitors could enjoy and support.
Innovation and Convenience
The new Truro location will feature a unique design that includes an on-site brewery, ensuring customers can enjoy the freshest brews to go. While a lounge for cocktails and flights won’t be available as at other locations, an event space is planned to host private events and functions. The retail footprint, designed for efficiency, will cover less than 500 square feet, complemented by a ‘cool zone’ of equal size to keep products chilled for refreshment at your destination.
Harnessing Momentum and Building Community
In a bold move to connect with the community, Coldstream has hosted pop-up shops at its Truro production facility for retail sales. This initiative not only builds brand advocacy but also offers a sneak peek into the Coldstream production process. As construction continues at the new Truro site, these pop-up shops will be running until end of December Thursday through Saturday at 241 Crossley Avenue – see social media for more details.

Strategically situated adjacent to major transport arteries, the Robie St. site provides unparalleled convenience for both local patrons and travelers. The area, already a bustling hub featuring popular establishments like McDonald’s, Tim Hortons, Sobeys, and Canadian Tire, is set to become even more vibrant with the addition of Coldstream’s new store.
