We’re looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic individual to lead our newest Coldstream Retail & Drive Thru location on ROBIE STREET, Truro.

Your Role:  

We are seeking a driven and professional individual who is enthusiastic about creating and leading a dynamic team while fostering memorable customer experiences. You will be leading and working alongside our positive and high energy retail team, who is just as excited to engage with a diverse clientele. You will naturally embrace the Coldstream Values, and root those behaviours within your team. You will set the tone and expectations of displaying contagious positive vibes, a keen eye for details and focus on supporting seamless memorable experiences for our treasured guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership:

• Ensure all team members provide best-in-class experience in every customer interaction, while supporting Coldstream Guest Experience guidelines in Retail and Culinary.
• Is able and desires to lead and inspire others; motivates, empowers, develops, and directs people as they work
• Conveys information effectively and understands information shared while interacting with others
• Provide retail floor leadership to team members, including planning retail floor coverage and making decisions to maintain efficiency and effectiveness of retail floor operations.
• Address, coach and adhere to policies, procedures and laws or regulations.
• As needed, manage conflict or mediating problems between others or deescalating issues
• Confidently reach out and build relationships with new customers and teammates.

Management:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of lounge and retail space, including inventory management, scheduling, accurate cash handling and effective use of POS systems
• Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote events and traffic to retail location
• Ensure facility maintenance and showroom presentation adhere to the brand standard and that employees align with Coldstream’s dress code and guidelines
• Compliance with local regulations and alcohol serving laws
• Engaging presence while masterminding and producing guests experience from the moment they decide to ‘stream.
• Proud to share the awesome knowledge of our story, brand, products and swag.
• Experience the first-hand glimpse of guest’s reaction when you deliver tastings of our current and NEW products.
• Join the magic by creating and delivering cocktails at the bar or delivering the desirable goods to our tables.
• Keep accurate tabs in our systems (POS) and inventory while keeping shelves loaded and looking stellar for our upcoming guests.
• Maintain our awesome retail location, keeping it spick and span, putting it to rest every night to support the next days great adventures.

Who you are: 

• Self awareness, desire to step out of comfort zone, desire to learn and grow personally and professionally
• Thrive and embrace the accountability and responsibility for team success
• Self-starter with exceptional management and coaching skills
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in managerial role within the hospitality and or retail industry
• Ability to develop collaborative relationships acting as a well-respected, trusted partner
• Excellent time-management and written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work evenings and weekends in a retail environment
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Sales experience, people management, & marketing background considered an asset
